Biographical Text
Somers Clarke was a British architect who mainly worked on churches throughout the United Kingdom. After he retired,Clarke moved to Egypt and explored El Kab and Hierakonpolis as well as restoring many ancient Egyptian buildings found during archaeological expeditions.
