Dear Sir,
I beg to advise you that I have this day discovered what I suppose to be a large tomb. Owing to the request of Sir Eldon Gorst (Lord Cromer's successor) I shall not open or enter the tomb until the 17th inst.
Will you kindly exercise your rights and duties under your Inspectorship int he matter of guarding the site of the tomb and oblige.
